Apostle Terri Diggs: Message

Where is your Moral Compass?

Our earthly definition describes our Moral Compass as right and wrong.

Moral - involving right and wrong: relating to issues of right and wrong and to how individual people should behave.

I would suggest that it’s more than that. You can be right, but morally wrong. We must judge ourselves and others by the Word of almighty God.

God is real and He is a talking God, and what He says goes.

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
Numbers 23:19 NIV

Today, some of God’s people deeply believe that God has chosen the President of the United States. However they have done this without lining him up with God’s Word. As the children of God are we not tired of all the bad stuff happening in this world? Yes! The President has been a President just like any other, he will
accomplish and he will disappoint just like the rest. We as God’s children must keep our focus.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20:3 (KJV)

The Church has chosen to fight a natural battle
instead of listening to what Jesus said and doing what He did. Christians have been fighting as though this place is our home. Yet Jesus tells us that this is not our home.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
John 18:36 NKJV

The Kingdom of Heaven is not made up of places, things, nor of this government. Jesus' Kingdom is made up souls (Christians).
Jesus told Peter that he was thinking like the world and not like God.

Peter took him aside and objected to this. He said, “Heaven forbid, Lord! This must never happen to you!”
23) But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get out of my way, Satan! You are tempting me to sin. You aren't thinking the way God thinks but the way humans think.”
Matthew 16:22-23 (GW)

Just as Jesus said that we are to love one another as yourself. That being said, loving one another doesn’t mean accepting the others immoral behavior and we cannot accept the worlds way at all. Some Christians operate under some misguided compassion for those that give a compelling argument for their case. One
example comes crashing in. That is one of
homosexuality and lesbianism. They present a
persuasive case of being born that way and anything else that would help their case. Yet God said in Genesis that He created Mankind: male and female.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

We don’t have to stop there, because from nuts to bolts to the words we use in our daily language scream the puzzle of Mankind: male and female. Without male and female there is no blessing of Life. Children are produced the natural way by Male and Female.
Children that are produced artificially or by cloning is the worlds way of preparing to exclude God and His Word. A Satan infused world saying to God, we don’t need or want you.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Genesis 2:24 (KJV)

Do we stop loving homosexuals and lesbians, absolutely not. Some of them are talented and amazing people. Some are our family members. We love them, yet we do not embrace or support the sin of same sex
relationships. As Christians, we must hold them to the same standard of judging them by the Word of God as we must hold ourselves accountable to God’s word.
From lying, stealing, killing, adultery, fornication, and so much more God tells us not to do, not to be around or accept as right. Remember souls are at state.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Hebrews 13:8

So I ask you again where is your Moral Compass?
