Poverty is the State of being extremely poor.
Good News: you can destroy poverty in your life and your family’s. How? Simply by giving.
As with everything, God must be first. You may be asking, what does God need with money? When we pray, God uses people to meet our needs.
And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the Lord) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel. . Numbers 3: 41 (KJV)
The Levites were priests of old and in our time they are the Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, . Evangelists, and Teachers. They all have to spend time with God to receive what you need, then prepare it, and then serve it to you. They work for God. God’s Word to them is that He would take care of them. He does that with part of the tithe. Part of it is used for the upkeep of the house itself. What remains can be used to help the people that are in need.
“Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings [you have withheld]. .
9) You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, this whole nation! .
10) Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the . storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it. .
Malachi 3:8-10 (AMP)
If you are receiving from a Man or Woman of God, no one should have to ask or tell you to give to them. No Woman or Man of God in full-time Ministry should have to work for God and work a secular job. When they can devote themselves to God. What you get from them is all God. When they can’t, you get both God and the world. Selah!
And in the same house remain, eating and . drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. .
Luke 10: 7 (KJV)
God is our Great Conductor, but without love, it is impossible for most prayers to be answered. Some may ask: If God is so powerful, why can’t He just do it? God has given us everything we need. Including sending His Son Jesus to die in our place. God’s work is finished. Selah! Jesus on the Cross said it was finished, but not without asking God to send His Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is here to help us but not do it for us. So now it is up to us. Unfortunately, some people have a problem giving and some are just downright scared. You can have your dream job, make a lot of money, save, hoard, invest, or even inherit, but you will never have the blessing that God has for you. Stop judging people and see yourself as them because, to God, you are them.
Remember, you can have millions of dollars and still have the spirit of poverty.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. .
Luke 6: 38
It takes love for us to heal the sick and it takes money for doctors to practice healing the sick. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don’t. Love Never Fails
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. .
Matthew 14:14 (KJV)
What is Compassion?
Compassion is coming past yourself to meet the needs of others: Holy Ghost 101. Selah!
Some people are sick in their bodies today . because of the spirit of poverty. Poverty is . linked to disobedience. If God has given you . money and you refuse to give, you bring poverty on your children and your children’s children. If you give, you will bring the blessing upon you, your children, and your children’s children.
Giving is one of the most fulfilling things we can do, especially when we do it in secret.
But when you give to the poor and do acts of kindness, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing [give in complete secrecy], .
4) so that your charitable acts will be done in . secret; and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you. .
Matthew 6: 3,4 (AMP)
Charity: Love
Give and teach your children to give, destroy . poverty in your generations to come.
